Childcare Assistant Director / Mint Hill

Salary:
$19 - $22 per hour (based on education, experience, & credentials). Candidates with advanced education and experience in early childhood education may qualify for higher pay. Regular increases considered with additional education, stellar performance, and years of service.
Assistant Director Responsibilities
Help manage daily operations of the childcare school, ensuring compliance with state licensing requirements and company policies.
Perform administrative duties, maintain records, and support smooth operation of the school.
Partner with families to provide the best care and education for their children.
Support teachers in implementing the curriculum, enabling developmentally appropriate classrooms.
Nurture positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing representatives, and the community.
Work in the classroom when needed to assist and support staff.
Requirements
Associate’s degree in early childhood education or related field preferred.
A minimum of EDU119/NCECC certificate required.
Completion of Admin 1 & Admin 2 coursework and experience managing a licensed childcare center preferred.
Experience working in a licensed childcare center setting as an administrator.
Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office and other business-related programs.
Passion for providing high-quality care and education.
