
Corporate Paralegal

The Atlanta Office of a national AmLaw 100 law firm is seeking qualified applicants for a Corporate Paralegal position.
As a Corporate Paralegal, you will support a busy mergers and acquisitions team in the Atlanta office of Nelson Mullins. You will manage client workflows, support M&A transactions, prepare transaction documents and slide decks, file with Secretaries of State, assist with legal diligence, research corporate records across jurisdictions, conduct legal research, and review lien, litigation, and diligence materials. As you grow in the role, you will have opportunities to take on more client-facing responsibilities and support increasingly complex, time‑sensitive projects.
Responsibilities
Manage client workflows
Support M&A transactions
Prepare transaction documents and slide decks
File with Secretaries of State
Assist with legal diligence
Research corporate records across jurisdictions
Conduct legal research
Review lien, litigation, and diligence materials
Take on more client-facing responsibilities and support complex, time‑sensitive projects as you grow in the role
Qualifications
Detail-oriented and organized, comfortable following instructions
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Solid analytical skills and ability to interpret transactional and corporate documents
Clear communication, accountability, and proactive mindset
Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Deliver excellent client service and willing to work overtime as needed
Four-year degree and an ABA‑approved paralegal certificate preferred (relevant experience may substitute)
