We are looking for a dedicated and mission‑driven Nonprofit Manager to lead our Capable Kids team in Rolla. This is a pivotal role designed for a professional who is passionate about advocacy and operational excellence within the developmental disabilities sector.

The Role As the Nonprofit Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our developmental services, ensuring that our programs meet the highest standards of care and compliance. You will serve as a leader, mentor, and advocate, bridging the gap between administrative strategy and community‑facing impact.

Key Responsibilities

Program Oversight:

Manage and scale programs specifically designed for children (0-5) with developmental disabilities.

Team Leadership:

Supervise staff, provide professional development, and ensure a culture of empathy and accountability.

Compliance & Advocacy:

Ensure all services align with state regulations, grant requirements, and industry best practices.

Community Engagement:

Build and maintain relationships with families, local stakeholders, and partner organizations.

Strategic Planning:

Collaborate with executive leadership to manage budgets and long‑term service goals.

Requirements To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Education:

A Bachelor’s Degree or higher (fields include Early Childhood, Early Childhood Special Education, Early Intervention or related field).

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of direct experience working with children with Developmental Disabilities.

Location:

Ability to commute to Rolla, MO, or a willingness to relocate to the area.

Skills:

Strong organizational leadership, excellent verbal/written communication, and a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by the community we serve.
