Position Summary Primarily responsible for the direct supervision of the Community Management Portfolios in respective offices and office personnel.

Position Responsibilities

Develop a working relationship with Developer clients and Developer Boards through consistent conversations/meetings.

Attend scheduled Developer Meetings as scheduled with Corporate and Regional AAM personnel.

Partners with AAM’s Management Team to ensure compliance with State and Federal Association Management Laws and will oversee all aspects of office facility.

Ensure that all necessary documents such as Design Guidelines, Rules and Regulations, Fine and Collection Policy, Resolutions are in place for new community start-up.

Provide leadership, direction and supervision to assigned Area Managers, Community Managers and direct reports.

Assist with AAM Property Management assignments for designated area.

Provide input for annual reviews.

Represent AAM at Board/Annual Meetings.

Participate in interviews, hiring, terminations, placement of Community Managers as well as training/mentoring.

Attend common area acceptance walk-throughs as needed.

Review, proofread and approve all mailings, notices, newsletters, etc.

Review & approve Status Reports/Board Packets.

Review Board Meeting Minutes.

Review Inspection Reports.

Participate in annual & 90-day reviews.

Handle escalated homeowner calls where homeowner is requesting to speak to someone above the manager.

Review Corporate Books.

Manage pre-transition checklists and ensure that M.A.P. is utilized.

Assist with community transitions, board training, and elections as outlined in the governing documents.

Other related duties as directed.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Excellent interpersonal skills: outgoing & communicative, socially oriented, poised, effective in groups, articulate, persuasive in expression, strong public speaker.

Time Management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.

Attention to detail.

Experience working with HOA's or other entities that involved knowledge and enforcement of Governing Documents.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Utilizing a computer in an office setting.

Utilizing personal vehicle for travel involved.

Ability to walk or move around properties as necessary.

Weekly travel to Cleveland. Consistent visits to AAM managed communities. Manage assigned portfolio of Pulte communities at start up.
