About The Team And The Role
Goldin, an eBay company, is the leading collectibles marketplace platform, with millions of customers globally. The role seeks an intermediate‑to‑expert consignment director in the Music, Entertainment Collectibles area. Responsibilities include sourcing high‑end collectibles, placing them into auction, and managing communications from sale start to finish. A strong knowledge of the subject matter and high‑end sales experience are required.
Essential Responsibilities And Duties
Offer advice and recommendations to experienced collectors confidently
Identify authentic and counterfeit items
Evaluate a wide range of collectibles
Perform outbound/inbound sales efforts via email and phone
Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
Have strong knowledge of Memorabilia
Manage relationships with high net‑worth customers
Consistently close sales by engaging customers and driving revenue growth
Meet and exceed quota expectations through strong sales execution, organization, and follow‑through
Create and manage auctions to maximize product visibility and sales performance
Offer white‑glove services for sellers
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum 3–5 years hobby‑related experience
Strong communication, organization and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
Bachelor’s degree
Proficiency in Salesforce, Excel, and email systems
Additional Details The base pay range for this position depends on location, skills, and experience. Compensation may also include a target bonus and restricted stock units, as applicable, along with a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits such as 401(k) eligibility and various paid time‑off benefits (PTO, parental leave).
