Aspire Senior Living is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated
Maintenance Director
to join our team in our Kansas City metro area in Missouri. As a key member of our operations team, the Maintenance Director will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, overseeing maintenance and repair activities, and providing excellent customer service to our residents and staff.
Responsibilities
Oversee and direct the maintenance and repair of facilities, equipment, and grounds to ensure optimal working conditions and resident satisfaction
Develop and implement maintenance programs to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize downtime
Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance technicians, contractors, and vendors
Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions
Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring timely and cost-effective allocation of resources
Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, staff, and vendors to ensure excellent customer service
Collaborate with other departments to identify and address operational issues and develop solutions
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., construction management, facilities management) preferred
Experience in maintenance or a related field; experience in senior living facilities or hospitality industry a plus
Strong leadership and management skills, with ability to supervise and motivate team members
Excellent communication, customer service, and problem‑solving skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
