Now Hiring: Lead Marketing Specialist Come join our team as a Lead Marketing Specialist where you will support the activities of the Marketing department. The Lead Marketing Specialist plays a key role in the coordination and execution of strategic marketing and community initiatives. This position ensures a unified, compelling brand presence and strong campaign performance across digital and traditional channels, continually enhancing member experiences. The ideal candidate is a creative, data-driven communicator with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to guide projects to completion.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities
Coordinate the planning, execution, and optimization of integrated marketing campaigns across channels such as Online & Mobile Banking, Lobby TV & ATM screens, statement messages, and email marketing, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Oversee website management to ensure accuracy, quality assurance, strategic alignment with promotions and messaging, and continuous improvement of the member experience.
Develop and review marketing and promotional copy for campaigns, emails, social media, and printed materials, maintaining brand consistency and messaging excellence.
Create graphic designs for digital and print collateral using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and related tools, ensuring visual quality and alignment with brand standards.
Analyze campaign performance using Google Analytics, CRM dashboards, and social media insights; track trends, set marketing targets, optimize strategies, and prepare actionable reports for leadership.
Develop and execute community engagement promotions such as the Credit Union’s Small Acts that Give Back and Give-A-Click initiatives.
Lead quality assurance checks for marketing materials across all branch locations to ensure accuracy, consistency, and proper adherence to brand standards.
Monitor the organization’s online reputation and ensure its positive social presence is maintained by promptly communicating and recording any relevant complaints and subsequent actions, in accordance with established organizational protocols.
Maintain and regularly update Google Business Profiles and Apple Business Connect listings to ensure that all information remains accurate and consistent.
Coordinate the procurement and oversight of promotional materials and branded giveaways for events, partnership activities, and internal initiatives.
Coordinate and schedule community and member filming and photo opportunities.
Performs other job‑related duties as assigned.
Knowledge And Skills Experience:
3-5 years of related experience required. Experience within the financial industry or knowledge of banking and/or Credit Union specific products and services is preferred.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or a related field required.
Interpersonal Skills: Position requires a significant amount of personal contact with others inside and outside the Credit Union, thus requiring a high degree of confidentiality, discretion, diplomacy, and tact in communication. Builds relationships and fosters positive interactions with Credit Union team members, vendors, and members by demonstrating friendly, helpful, and efficient service. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, patience, active listening, and sound judgment are required. Ability to confidently present information to groups of people at all levels and varying backgrounds.
Other Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required, including Excel skills for data analysis and reporting. Writing correspondence and reports with the correct use of grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure is critical. Must have the ability to take ownership, work independently, and as part of a collaborative team. Must be highly motivated, organized, and skillful with time management and multi-tasking. This position requires standing, sitting, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 20 lbs. regularly.
