Role Summary Lead the Social Media Management Division. Own strategy, execution, reporting, and documentation across all major platforms. Build the systems that let a team deliver consistent quality across multiple clients without missed deadlines or dropped standards.

This is a hands‑on leadership role. You will still build calendars, write copy, engage communities, and ship work.

Work alongside Brand Managers who own the client relationship and overall account direction.

Take full ownership. Do not wait to be told what to do. Pitch ideas, push boundaries, and prioritize execution over discussion.

Own all social calendars, publishing and QA standards across clients.

Manage 3‑5 brands.

Directly oversee 2 social media managers.

Role Overview Forge Relations is hiring a Senior Social Media Manager to lead social media for our clients and oversee our Social Media Management division. This role owns strategy, execution, reporting, and the SOPs for SMM across all major social platforms.

What You Will Own

Own the Social Media Management division at Forge Relations and set the SOP for how social media is managed across the company.

Oversee the social team, review social calendars, final graphics & videos, and ensure schedules and execution meet Forge standards for our clients.

Coordinate with our client brand managers, creator managers, and our creative team, including the art department & production team, to execute on these social strategies.

Key Responsibilities Strategy and Leadership

Partner with Brand Managers to turn goals into executable platform plans and monthly calendars.

Collaborate with brand managers and creative teams for campaign development and content brainstorming.

Maintain a big picture view across clients to coordinate resource allocation and protect deadlines.

Build and refine internal systems & SOPs for social management.

Manage and mentor junior social media managers, including schedules, quality control, and performance standards.

Collaborate with creator management and production teams to plan, request, and deploy content.

Client Ownership and Communication

Join weekly client calls as the social SME.

Translate client feedback into action.

Social Operations and Execution

Own the content calendar end‑to‑end and keep it ahead for approval and publishing.

Own publishing across all required platforms, including stories and community management.

Represent each client on the platform with the established brand voice, personality, and SME level confidence.

Coordinate with production and design to ensure content is complete before scheduling.

Maintain client documentation, including playbooks, platform guidelines, and brand voice notes.

Own and maintain client profiles so they stay updated, accurate, and on brand.

Lead onboarding for new social clients to ensure their social presence meets Forge expectations.

Manage social utilities as needed, including link in bio tools and profile updates.

Analytics and Reporting

Track performance and adjust strategy based on results.

Deliver monthly KPI reports and performance charts using Forge reporting structure.

Stay ahead of holidays, launches, and key industry moments and plan content needs early.

What Success Looks Like in Your First 90 Days

Social calendars are consistently submitted for approval at least 2 weeks in advance.

Monthly reporting is delivered on time with clear insights and next actions.

Posting and engagement standards are consistent across clients.

SOPs and templates are documented and adopted by the team.

Brand voice quality improves, and caption revisions decrease.

Requirements

3 to 5+ years managing social media for brands across multiple platforms.

Management experience leading a team.

Proven ability to manage multiple clients at once without quality loss.

Strong familiarity with firearms and defense industry culture and audiences.

Comfortable with KPIs, reporting, and performance‑based iteration.

Organized, proactive, dependable, and high ownership.

Hands‑on experience with Meta Business, TikTok, X, and LinkedIn tools.

Ideal Candidate

Military experience or extensive experience within the firearms or defense industries.

Familiarity with Adobe Suite, Canva, & lightweight editing workflows.

Familiarity with Monday.com or similar project management software.

Familiarity with Google Workspace.

Compensation and Benefits Compensation:

$55,000-$70,000 based on experience
