Winton Woods High School, recognized as a Best Community for Music Education, is seeking a passionate and dynamic Head Director of Choirs to lead and continue the strong tradition of excellence in our choral program.
Our award‑winning choirs have a proud history of outstanding achievement, including performances with the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra, superior ratings (1's) at OMEA adjudicated events, and collaborations with the Cincinnati Fusion Ensemble, among many other notable accomplishments. We are looking for an educator who will inspire students, build community, and carry this legacy forward.
Position Responsibilities Include:
Directing the High School Choir Program
Assisting with Middle School Choir to ensure strong vertical alignment
Collaborating on the Spring Musical production
Preparing ensembles for participation in OMEA events and festivals
Continuing to build relationships with community arts organizations
Supporting a vibrant, inclusive, and high‑quality music education experience for all students
Ideal Candidate Will Demonstrate:
Strong choral pedagogy and rehearsal techniques
Commitment to student‑centered learning and artistic excellence
Ability to collaborate with colleagues across grade levels and disciplines
Experience preparing ensembles for adjudicated performances and community partnerships
Passion for sustaining a thriving and growing music program
