Your ability to convert inbound leads into appointments and turn opportunities into sales will play a direct role in the dealership's success. Key Responsibilities
Handle inbound and outbound customer inquiries via phone, email, online chat, and internet leads, providing prompt, professional, and customer-focused responses
Schedule, confirm, and follow up on sales appointments, coordinating with customers and internal teams to maximize show rates and ensure a seamless experience
Proactively follow up on internet leads, customer inquiries, and previous appointments to maintain engagement, re‑engage prospects, and drive showroom traffic
Execute customer retention and data mining outreach using CRM tools to identify repeat and replacement sales opportunities
Maintain, manage, and update customer records in the CRM and dealership systems daily, ensuring accurate tracking of leads, appointments, follow‑up activity, and retention efforts
Work closely with the sales team and sales management to support dealership goals, customer needs, and revenue growth
Support dealership promotions, campaigns, and lead‑generation initiatives to increase appointment volume and showroom traffic
Provide accurate information regarding current promotions, incentives, new inventory, and dealership services to potential and existing customers
Track and report on key performance metrics, including appointment set and show rates, conversion rates, customer satisfaction, and retention activity
Qualifications
Previous experience in a BDC or sales role within the automotive industry is preferred but not required
Proven ability to set, confirm, and manage high volumes of customer appointments
Strong verbal and written communication skills with professional phone etiquette
Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in dealership CRM systems (VinSolutions a plus), dealership management software, and Google Workspace tools including Google Drive
Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
Ability to learn, retain, and confidently present product knowledge, vehicle features, and promotions
Reliable, punctual, goal-driven, and customer-focused with a positive attitude and a strong focus on customer satisfaction and relationship-building
Saturday availability is required, with Sundays and one additional weekday off
Bilingual is a plus but not required
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education or training is a plus
