Overview
Your Home Improvement Company is seeking a 1099 Subcontractor Window and Bathroom Installer.
Your Home Improvement Company is becoming the largest home improvement company in the US. We were founded in 2004 in St Cloud, MN by Steve Little. Our main goal is “Total Customer Satisfaction.” We are a full-service company that handles research, marketing, finance, sales, installation, services, and warranties. We specialize in bathroom remodeling, windows, roofing, and more. We are a well-established organization with continued growth and expansion.
Responsibilities
Comply with YHIC engineering specifications as well as regulatory code requirements, safety procedures, and technique.
Review the contract folder and all instructions/drawings before leaving on assignments to clarify work to be completed.
Install windows, doors, exterior/interior trim, and apply clean caulking; ensure a YHIC quality job is completed in a safe and timely manner.
Interact professionally with YHIC customers while maintaining the integrity of YHIC's reputation.
Ensure the vehicle being driven is fully equipped with all necessary parts, products, tools, and resources necessary to complete assigned projects.
Bend aluminum and use a brake.
Assist with the unloading of delivery trucks.
Handle large amounts of heavy lifting and the ability to unload vendor trucks.
Basic construction skills; ability to use a tape measure, understand a level, and operate basic power tools.
Must have window installation experience and experience using a metal brake.
Maintain a truck and enclosed trailer, planks/ladders/pump jack/scaffolding, hand tools, and a brake table.
General liability insurance and Workmen's Comp as required.
Your own truck, tools, and a large trailer to transport materials from the warehouse to the jobsite and haul away debris.
Contractor's License and EPA Lead Certification.
