sales leader

to own the corporate segment for our three East Peoria hotels - driving revenue, building lasting client relationships, and shaping the future of our sales strategy. Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute outside sales strategies in collaboration with hotel GMs and the FHG Corporate team, with a focus on high-volume revenue-driving accounts. Proactively generate new business through phone calls, in-person visits, and strategic prospecting of new and existing accounts. Negotiate and secure corporate client agreements - including local negotiated rates, group blocks, and national account negotiated rates through brand channels. Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with key corporate clients, travel agencies, and decision-makers to drive repeat business, strengthen partnerships, and enhance brand loyalty. Build and execute a structured sales process covering lead qualification, client proposals, and follow-up to convert prospects into bookings. Identify new corporate business via market research, networking, Chamber of Commerce collaboration, trade shows, and industry events. Optimize sales tools, CRM systems, and processes to support development, ensure consistent follow-up, and enhance customer retention. Achieve annual sales goals and monthly budgetary targets across the full portfolio while maintaining competitive market intelligence. Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's degree Proven experience as a Sales Manager or Director in the hospitality industry, experience with dual property or multi-location sales is preferred but not required. Ability to work during regular business hours (Monday - Friday) with occasional evenings and weekends, as needed. Experience with Microsoft Office and sales information systems preferred. Professional verbal and written communication skills; fluent English required, additional languages a plus Mathematical skills, including basic math, budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages, and variances.
