Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Activity Director to join our team at Brentwood Place Four, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center dedicated to providing exceptional care to our residents. As a Certified Activity Director, you will play a vital role in designing and coordinating a wide range of recreational, social, and therapeutic activities to improve the physical, emotional, and cognitive well‑being of our residents.

Responsibilities
Design and implement a comprehensive activity program that promotes resident engagement, socialization, and overall well‑being
Conduct needs assessments to identify resident interests and preferences, and develop programs that cater to their unique needs
Coordinate and lead activities such as arts and crafts, exercise classes, parties, and special events
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including healthcare professionals, to ensure that activities are aligned with individual resident care plans
Maintain accurate records and reports of activity participation, including attendance, feedback, and outcomes
Develop and manage activity budgets, scheduling, and supplies
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
Requirements
Certified Activity Director (CAD) certification
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in recreational therapy, social work, or a related field preferred
0-1 year of experience in activity direction or a related field
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail
