This is a seasonal role that will start in mid-April and end on September 30th, with the possibility of extending the timeline depending on the needs of the taproom. The role will be scheduled for both Barback shifts and Patio Support shifts.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Glass washing to a beer clean standard
Bussing tables
Cleaning up any trash, sweeping, and keeping patio and taproom grounds clean and orderly
Exhibiting a sense of urgency
Ability to independently problem solve and display critical thinking skills
Ability to multitask
Ensuring the safety and comfort of guests
Engaging guests positively and consistently exceeding guest expectations
Other duties as assigned, including, but not limited to, working during festivals and events
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Excellent customer service required – this is a guest centric position, and includes interacting with guests regularly, and providing knowledgeable answers about our beverages, spaces, and events
Experience with, and enthusiasm for, craft beer and positive beer experiences
Previous service industry experience is a plus
Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations with a smile
Ability to meet physical demands (see below)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Stand and walk for extended periods of time (up to 7 hours, and oftentimes outside)
Lift up to 50 pounds with assistance
Crouch, kneel, and bend often
Perform repetitive motions of the hands and/or wrists frequently, including, but not limited to grasping, pulling, and reaching
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

WORK SCHEDULE:
Part Time hours and shifts vary depending on the needs of the taproom
Summer Seasonal position with the possibility of weekend and weekday shifts, during both afternoon and evening
Evening and weekend availability required through September
