We are seeking a Real Estate Paralegal to provide legal support to assigned attorneys dealing with leases, purchase and sale agreements, financing documentation, lending requirements, and related matters. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Identify and resolve diligence issues impacting closings. Coordinate directly with title companies and third-party consultants. Review and analyze title commitments, policies, and underlying title documents. Interpret and analyze ALTA surveys and zoning reports for transactional impact. Review and summarize declarations, REAs, and CCRs for material restrictions or risks. Prepare and/or review UCC financing Statements. Review and summarize UCC, lien, and judgment searches. Manage multiple active deals at various stages simultaneously. Supporting complex commercial transactions. Coordinate and assist with documentation for closing and post-closing requirements. Communicate proactively and coordinate with third parties to finalize diligence matters on tight deadlines. Maintain up-to-date time reports to ensure accurate client billing. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Extremely well-organized, with the ability to handle detailed work accurately. Demonstrates initiative and acts as a self-starter; seeks guidance when appropriate but independently drives transactions forward. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and prioritize responsibilities. Team player with a strong desire to contribute to the firm’s success. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Excellent typing skills, with a speed of at least 65 words per minute. Excellent knowledge of grammar, spelling and punctuation. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum of three to five years of relevant experience, preferably in a large law firm. Commercial real estate or transactional experience is required. Experience with iManage (electronic document management system) preferred. BENEFITS
