Job Summary
A Piping Designer is needed for a leading EPC team in Knoxville, TN. The Piping Designer is responsible for developing high-quality 3D models and technical drawing packages for large-scale industrial projects. In this role, you will collaborate across engineering disciplines to ensure piping systems are functional, safe, and integrated seamlessly within the overall plant layout. Your primary goal is to translate conceptual P&IDs into precise construction deliverables while adhering to strict project timelines and industry regulations.

Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive 3D models of piping systems, equipment, and secondary supports within the plant environment
Produce accurate orthographic drawings, piping isometrics, and Bills of Materials (BOM) for fabrication and construction
Perform regular interference checks and resolve spatial conflicts between piping, structural steel, and electrical raceways
Review vendor equipment drawings to ensure accurate nozzle orientations and support requirements are integrated into the design
Participate in model reviews and provide technical support during the construction and commissioning phases of the project
