Leasing Specialist Exciting opportunity to join the property management team at our high-quality rental housing community! The Leasing Specialist plays a critical role in the success of our community by helping to ensure we offer a WOW customer experience to the residents and prospective renters. The leasing specialist leads tours of the community and apartments, actively selling our high-quality rental homes, following up on leads, and assisting in driving increased occupancy.

Location: Huntington at Stonefield 13100 Stonefield Dr, Houston, TX 77014

Position type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday Through Friday with Rotating Weekends

What we are looking for in a Leasing Specialist Candidate

Bilingual a Plus!

Customer Service Experience is a must

Lease-Up Experience a must

Proven ability to drive positive results while representing and promoting core values

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Solid analytical skills and working with income statements and financial statements

Proven examples of change leadership and responsibility for on-site project management

A sense of empowerment, accountability, and success at achieving goals, driving performance, and developing team members

An active driver's license and reliable transportation

Appfolio, G‑suite, and Microsoft Office experience is a plus.

What You Will Do As a Leasing Specialist

Respond to all leads within 4 hours and manage the full lead-to-lease process

Prospect weekly and build relationships with local businesses for cross‑promotion

Network with major employers, universities, and hospitals to generate traffic

Conduct leasing tours using DLP’s Standards of Excellence and close with confidence

Assist prospects in applying using online tools and proven closing techniques

Create and lead resident programs to enhance the living experience

Build relationships with current and past residents to drive referrals

Regularly walk and inspect the property to ensure cleanliness and functionality

Maintain accurate CRM records, guest cards, follow‑ups, and lease paperwork

Communicate consistently with the Community Manager, leadership, and teammates

Attend all required meetings and trainings; manage goals and time effectively
