Escrow Assistant – Job Overview This position is onboard at Westminster Title Agency, a Toll Brothers company, located in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Escrow Assistant works with escrow officers to facilitate the closing process, coordinating communication among all parties, preparing and obtaining required documents, preparing the closing statement, and disbursing, balancing, and posting files after closing.
This position is onsite 5 days per week.
Primary Responsibilities
Assist Senior Escrow Officers or Escrow Officers in branch to facilitate the closing process.
Coordinate and communicate with all parties involved in the transaction.
Obtain and/or prepare all closing documents necessary to effectuate settlement.
Prepare the Closing Statement (HUD), lender, attorney, seller, and/or purchaser documents as required and permitted by local, state, and federal law.
Conduct closings as permitted by local, state, and federal law and local custom.
Disburse, balance, and post-close files after closing.
Perform other duties assigned by management as necessary.
Qualifications
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to follow established guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Detail-oriented with good time management skills and a team-oriented mindset.
At least 1 to 3 years of related work experience.
Escrow certification may be required in some states; ability to obtain Notary Public Certification.
