Position
Leasing Consultant – The View at Blossom Hill (temporary).
$25 to $27 per hour
+ bonus opportunities.
Schedule:
Friday – Tuesday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

Responsibilities
Coordinate all activities related to apartment rentals, move‑ins, move‑outs, and lease renewals.
Interact directly with prospective and current residents to maximize occupancy and ensure resident retention and client satisfaction.
Listen, understand, and show empathy and respect to meet the needs of others.
Deliver excellent customer service to prospective and current residents and promote a quality living experience for all.
Generate and handle traffic, qualify prospective residents, lease apartments, prepare lease documentation, and complete move‑in paperwork and processes.
Ensure model apartments are in touring condition.
Orient prospective and current residents to the property.
Process renewal paperwork and ensure documentation is delivered to current residents on a monthly basis.
Maintain accurate records of traffic activity by entering information into the computer.
Follow up with all prospective residents via phone, mail, or email.
Convert phone traffic into scheduled appointments with prospective residents for property tours.
Inspect apartments before move‑ins and confirm move‑in condition by coordinating move‑in/out needs and schedules with maintenance.
Create and maintain confidential resident files, including reviewing move‑in paperwork with new residents.
Complete weekly leasing reports in an accurate and timely manner.
Ensure all opening and closing procedures are completed daily.
Assist with ongoing resident relations during tenancy by responding to requests promptly and accurately.
Shop competitive properties.
Inspect buildings and grounds for safety and cleanliness, alerting maintenance to needed repairs.
Process work‑order requests from residents and ensure work is completed on time.
Provide clerical support such as answering phone calls, filing, and processing property invoices, as needed.
Assist with planning and implementing resident activities to increase retention.
Comply with all company policies, health and safety rules, and applicable local, state, and federal laws.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
High school diploma required.
One year of previous residential leasing experience required.
Minimum of one year of previous sales experience preferred.
Skills and Requirements
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to others.
Prior experience with Yardi Voyager or a comparable system preferred.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively and sensitively with all levels of management.
Sensitivity to confidential matters required.
Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment with a strong sense of urgency.
Ability to relay technical concerns accurately and quickly.
Capability to read, write, comprehend, and converse in English.
Ability to use general office equipment (telephone, fax machine, printer, copier, key‑track system).
Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
Ability to cope with and defuse situations involving angry or difficult people.
Must maintain a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance.
Must comply with all safety requirements.
Required to complete and pass the Avenue5 Fair Housing, Diversity and Inclusion Training within the first 30 days of employment.
