Brand & Marketing Manager, US
Nashville Public Radio, Miami, FL, United States
About the Role
Shotgun is hiring a Brand & Marketing Manager to own our marketing presence across the US. You'll be the person who makes Shotgun impossible to ignore in the American nightlife and live events landscape, building brand equity while driving measurable business outcomes for our organizer partners.
We're not looking for someone who can "do marketing." We're looking for someone who's been in the rooms, knows the scene, and can translate that cultural fluency into strategy and execution.
What You'll Do Lead Social Media & Content Strategy
Own Shotgun’s US social media presence end-to-end: strategy, content creation, community management
Develop content that resonates with nightlife and electronic music audiences, not generic event industry content
Build and manage a content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms
Grow and activate Shotgun’s local communities
Run Paid Campaigns That Convert
Plan, execute, and optimize paid media campaigns across Meta and Google Ads with a focus on app installs, ticket sales, and first‑time buyer acquisition
Manage campaign budgets and report on ROAS, CPA, and conversion metrics
Build and test audience segments, creatives, and landing pages
Support partners with co‑marketing campaigns that drive GMV
Drive B2B Partner Marketing
Create activations (online and on‑site) that help organizers grow their audience and sell more tickets
Develop case studies, one‑pagers, and sales collateral that showcase Shotgun’s community reach and marketing capabilities
Collaborate with the partnerships team to design custom campaigns that demonstrate Shotgun’s value to prospective and existing partners
Build Brand Through Culture
Strengthen Shotgun’s visibility through event activations, influencer collaborations, and cultural partnerships
Diversify content formats: editorial, video, podcast, newsletter
Ensure every touchpoint reinforces Shotgun’s position as a community‑first platform, not just another ticketing company
You Should Have
4+ years of marketing experience, with meaningful time spent in music, nightlife, or live events
Hands‑on paid media experience running campaigns on Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads, with a track record of optimizing for performance
Strong content instincts: you can write copy, brief a designer, storyboard a video, and know what performs on social
Experience with email marketing and CRM tools (Brevo, Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar)
Analytical chops: comfortable pulling campaign data, interpreting it, and making decisions from it
Project management discipline: you can run multiple campaigns and stakeholders simultaneously without dropping balls
Passion for electronic music, club culture, and the communities that make it happen
Bonus Points
Experience at a ticketing platform, artist management company, label, or promoter
Familiarity with TikTok Ads Manager
Experience with analytics tools like Metricool, Sprout Social, or similar
You've built a brand’s social presence from early stage
What Success Looks Like Awareness Millions of impressions per quarter across organic and paid. High engagement rates. Shotgun becoming a name people in the scene actually recognize and talk about.
Conversion More app installs. More first‑time buyers. Paid campaigns hitting target ROAS. Email campaigns with strong open and click‑through rates. Measurable GMV uplift for organizer partners.
Community Growing, engaged social following. Active newsletter subscribers. Organizers citing Shotgun’s marketing support as a reason they stay on the platform.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $90,000 – $120,000 per year
Health: Medical, Dental, and Vision (Aetna)
Retirement: Employer‑matched retirement plan
