Builds and fosters relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up, asking questions and learning about their financial needs and banking channel preferences. Engages with clients to assess, attend to banking needs, and educate on deposit and loan products and services; recommends solutions based on each customer’s goals. Provides a consistent optimal client experience, including greeting clients and processing basic transactions. Maintains knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services, including digital products and services. Develops collaborative partnerships with branch team members and partners to serve clients. Opens new consumer and business accounts, completes service requests and submits credit applications. Educates clients on emerging and self-service digital products and services to meet financial needs and leverages available resources to optimize the client experience with operational excellence and accuracy. Qualifications and Experience
Client Relationship Consultant 1 Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; typically 1–2 years of job-related retail banking experience or equivalent training. Preferred Skills/Experience: Ability to build relationships; bilingual in English and Spanish; strong client engagement and communication; basic knowledge of bank policies, procedures and support systems; customer service and interpersonal skills; experience with digital products and self-service technologies; ability to identify customer needs with a digital-first mindset; basic ability to recommend solutions; experience in financial services preferred. Client Relationship Consultant 2 Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; typically 3–4 years of job-related retail banking experience or equivalent training. Preferred Skills/Experience: Similar to level 1 with thorough knowledge of bank policies and support systems; continued emphasis on client engagement, digital products, and identifying customer needs; experience in financial services preferred. Client Relationship Consultant 3 Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; typically 4–5 years of job-related retail banking experience or equivalent training. Preferred Skills/Experience: Proven ability to proactively engage clients; bilingual in English and Spanish; thorough knowledge of bank policies, all retail products and services; experience in sales campaigns/promotions; advanced proficiency in making recommendations; experience in financial services preferred. Client Relationship Consultant 4 Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; typically five or more years of job-related retail banking experience or equivalent training. Preferred Skills/Experience: Advanced knowledge of bank policies and all retail products and services; proven ability to engage clients; bilingual in English and Spanish; experience in sales campaigns/promotions; advanced proficiency in making recommendations; experience in financial services preferred.
