Large Format Print & Signs Production Specialist

Job Summary
AlphaGraphics on University (Tempe, AZ) is looking for an experienced Large Format Print & Signage Technician to join our dynamic production team. This is a long‑term opportunity for someone skilled in vinyl graphics, wide‑format printing, and signage production who is eager to contribute to a high‑performance environment.
Schedule: Mon‑Fri, typically 8:30am‑5pm
Responsibilities
Operate large format printers (HP Latex, Roland, Canon Oce, etc.)
Prepare, cut, mount, and finish vinyl and signage materials
Install vinyl graphics, wall wraps, vehicle wraps, and signs (interior/exterior)
Perform site surveys and ensure accurate field measurements
Maintain high print quality and minimize material waste
Collaborate with project managers, sales reps, and production team members
Troubleshoot equipment issues and conduct light maintenance
Assist with packaging, shipping, and installation prep
Qualifications – Required
1+ years experience in signage, vinyl, or large format print production
Strong understanding of substrates, laminates, and finishing materials
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 75 lbs
Attention to detail and ability to work independently
Solid communication skills and team collaboration
Qualifications – Preferred
1+ years experience in signage, vinyl, or large format print production
Experience with site surveys and vinyl installations
Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator, FlexiSign, or similar design software
3M, Avery, or Oracal installation certification
