
Production Director

PURPOSE
The Production Director provides leadership, vision, and execution for all audio, visual, and lighting (AVL) environments at Faithbridge Church. This role serves as the technical leader, supporting worship services, discipleship environments, and special events by creating excellent in-room and online experiences.
STRUCTURE & SCHEDULE
Reports to: Worship Pastor Works closely with: Creative Arts Team, Communications Department, and Executive Leadership Team (ELT) Hours: Up to 15 hours per week Sunday: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM Weekday hours: Determined in collaboration with the Worship Pastor Additional hours require prior approval
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Service & Event Production
Provide excellence in AVL execution for all weekend services, special services (e.g., Christmas, Easter), and major church events Oversee and execute live and online production (audio, video, lighting, livestream) Support rehearsals and ensure smooth service flow and transitions Collaborate with Worship Pastor and staff to prepare and execute services
Team Leadership & Development
Recruit, onboard, train, and lead volunteer Production Team members Build and maintain a healthy, growing volunteer culture Schedule team members using Planning Center Provide ongoing coaching, training, and development
Systems & Operations
Establish and maintain written standards for production quality and operations Manage ProPresenter and service media elements Oversee AVL systems including sound, lighting, and video Ensure excellence in livestream production and online experience Maintain organization of sound booth and AVL storage areas
Collaboration
Partner with Creative Arts Team to implement creative elements in services Work with Communications Director on videos, slides, and media integration Support video production and content capture as needed Assist with technical needs for other ministry events and campus activities
Equipment & Stewardship
Oversee purchase, maintenance, and repair of AVL equipment Provide input on production budget and future improvements Ensure proper setup, teardown, and care of equipment

Technical & Professional Skills
Strong experience in live sound mixing and AVL systems Proficiency with tools such as ProPresenter, Planning Center, and digital consoles Understanding of livestreaming and video production workflows Ability to create engaging and distraction-free worship environments Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
Experience (Preferred)
3–5 years of production or AVL leadership experience (church or similar environment preferred) General knowledge of lighting systems, video systems, and signal flow

PHYSICAL & PRACTICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift up to ~30 lbs Comfortable standing, walking, and moving throughout services/events Ability to operate technical equipment for extended periods
