Grassroots Associate – Political Canvasser
Join a dynamic, freedom-focused team working to advance limited‑government policies and candidates. As a Grassroots Associate, you’ll connect with voters through door‑to‑door conversations, surveys, and community engagement. Must be comfortable talking with strangers, able to walk 5–7 miles per shift, and work about 18 hours per week. Reliable transportation and a smartphone/tablet required.
Position Overview We are seeking an energetic and personable Grassroots Associate to connect directly with voters through door‑to‑door canvassing. This role focuses on advancing limited‑government, freedom-based policies and candidates by engaging in meaningful, respectful conversations and conducting issue‑based surveys in local communities. Training is provided. Some transferable experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct voter surveys and engage residents in persuasive conversations to support freedom-oriented policies and candidates.
Deliver exceptional constituent engagement and foster positive interactions at the door.
Demonstrate integrity, respect, and civility in all voter and community interactions.
Stay informed on current political issues, trends, and events.
Requirements
Ability to walk 5–7 miles per shift, occasionally in adverse weather conditions.
Strong interpersonal skills and comfort speaking with strangers.
Availability to work approximately 18 hours per week.
Reliable transportation and a smartphone or tablet.
