Sales Consultant
Shared Practices Group, Indianapolis, IN, United States
Working at Shared Practices Group means being part of a dynamic work environment where each one of our employees has the opportunity to make a difference. We love what we do, and it shows.
Shared Practices Group (SPG) is one of the fastest-growing dental implant organizations in the country, with over 40 practices across the U.S. focused on dentures and implant dentistry. Our mission is simple: expand access to life-changing full-arch care so more patients can get the smile, health, and confidence they deserve.
You’ll be joining an energetic, high-performing, and tight-knit team that truly lives the Team First mindset. We take care of our practice teams so they can focus on what matters most—taking exceptional care of our patients.
JOB SUMMARY As a Smile Consultant, you serve as a trusted guide and advocate for every patient who walks through our doors. You lead the consultation experience from the first connection through commitment—removing barriers and creating clarity, urgency, and confidence so patients feel empowered to say “yes” to a better life.
We provide life-changing full-arch implant solutions, including All-on-X/ All-on-4, for individuals ready to reclaim their health, confidence, and quality of life. This is not transactional sales. It is meaningful, purpose-driven work rooted in education, trust, and compassion—helping patients move forward at a time when it matters most.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Own the Consultation -Lead high-trust, high-urgency consultations that convert new patients into scheduled treatment
Educate patients on implant solutions, what to expect, and what’s possible for their future
Present treatment pathways clearly and confidently, aligned with the doctor’s diagnosis and recommendation
Create urgency through education (without pressure), helping patients understand the cost of waiting and the value of moving forward
Remove barriers with strong financing execution - Guide patients through financing options and applications (primary + secondary lenders when needed)
Explain rates, terms, approvals, and next steps in a way patients can easily understand
Build financial pathways that help patients move forward while maintaining integrity and compliance
Follow Up Like a Pro - Run consistent, structured follow-up to close patients who don’t commit same-day
Re-engage “not now” patients with empathy, confidence, and clear next steps
Maintain a full pipeline and protect follow-up time, because patients don’t always say yes the first day they feel hope again
Operate Like a Top Performer - Maintain a clean, organized CRM and accurate patient tracking
Hit key performance indicators tied to consult execution and revenue outcomes
Collaborate closely with Doctors, Practice Office Managers, and Operations Leaders to deliver a seamless patient experience
Participate in weekly training, coaching, huddles, and skill-building sessions
KEY OUTCOMES ARE MEASURED BY:
Conversion and closing performance (same-day + follow-up)
Pipeline discipline and follow-up activity
Financing execution and funding conversion
Show rate, scheduled next steps, and overall patient experience
Revenue performance aligned to practice goals

They can connect quickly, lead meaningful conversations, and bring confidence to a decision that can feel overwhelming for patients.
