What You’ll Do Technical Sales & Application Engineering
Serve as the
lead technical expert
on complex proposals and projects
Review RFQs, specifications, and
single-line diagrams
to develop compliant, competitive solutions
Recommend and design
medium voltage transformer solutions
(padmount, unit substation, dry-type)
Partner with sales and customers to present solutions, resolve technical challenges, and win projects
Support projects across
data centers, renewable energy (solar/wind), and industrial sectors
Controls, Monitoring & Retrofit Solutions
Translate field data and test results into
actionable retrofit and upgrade scopes
Advise on
protection schemes, automation, and monitoring systems
Lead integration of
smart monitoring and control technologies
Internal Technical Leadership
Mentor inside sales and operations teams on
transformer applications and power systems
Develop
technical tools, guides, and training materials
Act as a bridge between
sales, engineering, and field teams
What We’re Looking For
10+ years of experience in
sales engineering, application engineering, or power systems
Strong expertise in
medium voltage transformers (up to 35kV) :
Padmount
Unit substation (liquid-filled)
Dry-type / cast resin
Deep knowledge of
IEEE, ANSI, and NEMA standards
Familiarity with
NETA testing standards
and commissioning practices
Ability to read and interpret:
Electrical drawings &
single-line diagrams
Specifications & protection schemes
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or related field (PE a plus)
(Equivalent hands‑on field experience also highly valued)
Strong communication skills—comfortable in both
field environments and executive presentations
Willingness to travel up to ~10% (customer sites, project support, factory visits)
