Who We’re Looking For The Digital Marketing / Media Intern is an entry‑level intern position that supports the Digital Marketing Strategy and Paid Media teams within the Digital Marketing Solutions department at Two Rivers Marketing.
This internship provides hands‑on experience assisting with integrated digital marketing campaigns across search, social, and paid media channels. The intern will support campaign coordination, research, reporting, and administrative tasks while gaining exposure to how digital marketing strategies are developed and executed for agency clients.
The intern will collaborate with cross‑functional teams and gain exposure to other Integrated Marketing departments including PR & Content Strategy, Experience & Technology, and Creative Services.
As part of Two Rivers Marketing, a VGM Group company, the intern will also participate in VGM Group’s internship program, which includes virtual career development sessions, networking opportunities, and professional learning experiences with interns across the organization.
What Our Digital Media Intern Will Do Once They’re Here
Assist with day‑to‑day support of digital marketing initiatives across paid and organic social media and search channels.
Support social media monitoring, content and ad scheduling, as well as community engagement tasks.
Conduct basic keyword research and assist with search engine optimization (SEO) and/or paid search initiatives.
Assist with digital landscape audits and competitor research.
Support the compilation of campaign performance reports and insights.
Research digital marketing trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies.
Assist with paid media campaign setup and coordination across digital advertising platforms and traditional media vendors.
Help organize campaign assets, specifications, and media documentation.
Support the monitoring of active campaigns and performance metrics.
Assist with gathering data and compiling campaign reports.Help maintain campaign flowcharts and other documentation.
Assist with media billing support, including organizing invoices and supporting the reconciliation process with internal teams.
Support team members with media research and administrative tasks as needed.
Participate in cross‑functional shadowing and meetings with department leads to gain a deeper understanding of agency roles, responsibilities, and disciplines.
Participate in VGM Group’s internship program, including weekly virtual learning sessions, networking opportunities, and career development activities.
What Our Digital Media Intern Will Need to Succeed
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Advertising, or a related field
Interest in digital marketing, paid media, or advertising
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Excellent organization and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment
Curious, proactive, and eager to learn
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets preferred
Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and concepts preferred
