Medical Representative (Las Vegas, NV)
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Onsite Medical Representative (OMR) to join our team dedicated to ensuring the safety and well‑being of our workforce. In this role you will support the Workplace Health Safety (WHS) team by providing resources, best practices, and safe environments for managing the health and wellness of our people. You will collaborate with the WHS site manager, WHS specialist, and occasionally the Injury Prevention Specialist (IPS). Responsibilities include attending safety committee meetings, greeting new hires, and participating in weekly case‑management review meetings.
Responsibilities
Provide first aid support and refer to outside medical providers as necessary.
Minimize the risk of injury through awareness, education, and proactive engagement.
Maintain all records of care provided.
Coordinate and maintain workers' compensation and return‑to‑work programs for work‑related injuries.
Provide daily activity logs and end‑of‑shift reports.
Engage with associates and leadership on the operations floor to provide coaching on at‑risk work habits.
Maintain a clean working environment and ensure appropriate medical supply inventory.
Participate in training and certification to facilitate first aid, CPR, and AED certifications.
Maintain all first aid, CPR, and AED credentials.
Work flexible shifts, including days, nights, holidays, and weekends.
Assist with random saliva drug testing protocols.
Maintain effective care delivery in emergencies and assist with emergency response.
Essential Skills
High School or equivalent diploma.
Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by an approved emergency cardiac care provider.
Current valid Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Paramedic Certification from the Department of Health or the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Certification to teach first aid, CPR, and AED training from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Experience with an industrial wellness program.
Experience managing musculoskeletal disorders, ergonomics, and coaching on body mechanics.
Demonstrated work experience with OSHA regulations and Workers' Compensation.
Proficiency in digital record keeping.
Recent experience in the Military as a Combat Medic, U.S. Army Field Medic, U.S. Army Healthcare Specialist, U.S. Army Hospital Corpsman, U.S. Navy, or Aerospace Medical Service Technician, U.S. Air Force.
Work Environment The role requires the ability to lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach. You will need to stand and walk for up to 12 hours during shifts. The work environment features variable noise levels and temperatures, including outdoor loading departments, and may require continuous climbing and descending stairs in locations with stairs.
Job Type & Location This is a contract position based out of Las Vegas, NV.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $31.00 per hour.
