Overview L&M Corrugated Container is seeking a

Sales Manager Trainee

to develop into a future leader responsible for driving top-line revenue growth and leading our sales organization. This position is designed for individuals with strong sales experience and leadership potential who want to grow into a member of our Executive Team. Through a structured development program, the Sales Manager Trainee will gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of the business including sales, customer service, design, and production.

What You\'ll Do

Learn the Business & the Industry

Develop a deep understanding of L&M’s products, manufacturing processes, and customer applications

Work closely with Sales, Customer Service, Production, and Design teams

Learn pricing strategy, quoting processes, and cost structures

Analyze market trends and customer demand

Support Sales Growth

Assist with managing and developing customer accounts

Identify opportunities to expand business with existing customers

Participate in new business development efforts

Support forecasting and sales planning

Develop Leadership Skills

Work alongside company leadership to understand sales strategy

Observe and support sales team management and development

Learn how to set performance expectations and hold teams accountable

Assist with sales performance analysis and reporting

Experience

3–5+ years of sales experience (manufacturing or B2B preferred)

Demonstrated success managing customer relationships

Leadership potential and interest in managing a sales team

Skills

Strong communication and relationship-building abilities

Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Analytical mindset with interest in sales performance metrics

Education

High school diploma required

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
