As a result of this new organizational structure, we now have an opportunity for a senior financial adviser to support this aggregated business, reporting to the Global Finance Head based in Singapore. The remote supervisory requires this candidate to be independent and a proactive go-getter.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to: 1) Annual Business Plan Development & Managing Financial Forecast
Partner with respective Finance teams across the value chain (and aligned organizations) to develop the
annual five-year business plan
and develop
summary presentations
for leadership reviews.
Coordinate plan submission, quality checks, and follow-ups to ensure plans meet expectations for timeliness, completeness, and internal consistency.
Regularly review the internal partner organization billing process to ensure equity and consistency in approach, helping to champion dialogues when there are gaps or improvement opportunities. This is inherently part of the Business Plan process.
2) Executive Communications & Materials & Partnering
Lead the
development and delivery of monthly and ad-hoc executive‑level presentation materials
and communication packages for senior leadership.
Translate complex topics, assumptions, and trade‑offs into
clear, concise narratives
suitable for executive audiences.
3) Competitive Performance & Benchmarking
Support and partner the Specialty business to both validate cashflow improvement ideas in both the ideation and close out of initiatives identified as part of the overall gap-to-competitive-goal through external benchmarking.
The candidate is expected to synthesize large data and help identify performance gaps, trends, and improvement opportunities. Integrate competitive insights are integrated to inform leadership discussions and strategic and tactical decision-making.
4) Cross‑Functional & Global Collaboration
Build strong working relationships and act as a connector across Specialty Sales businesses, finance and other partner organizations to drive alignment, partner better and deliver results. The end objective is to evolve into a global service delivery model that is both effective and efficient.
Required Qualifications
Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related business field; MBA and/or CPA is preferred.
12 to 15 years of progressive experience in Finance, with recent supervisor experience. Experience working in complex, matrixed, and multicultural environments or previously exposed to the energy industry is preferred.
Strong understanding of
financial fundamentals
and a strategic thinker with a hands‑on approach that also possess excellent stakeholder management skills.
Proven ability to operate as a
individual contributor but also as a coach , providing guidance and influencing outcomes without direct authority. Aspires to lead.
