Key Responsibilities

Manage all leasing activities for select multifamily properties, including tours, applications, lease signings and current lease modifications.

Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email and walk-ins.

Maintain accurate records in Yardi and ensure compliance with leasing policies.

Assist in completing administrative tasks associated with current lease modifications and/or resident changes.

Conduct Market surveys and stay informed about local rental trends.

Assist with resident retention initiatives and renewal processes.

Collaborate with property manager and maintenance teams to ensure unit readiness.

Provide exceptional customer service and build strong Resident relationships.

Greet and assist prospective tenants in a professional and friendly manner

Conduct property tours and showcase available units to potential renters

Provide accurate and up-to-date information about the property, amenities, and leasing terms

Process rental applications, conduct background checks, and verify references

Prepare lease agreements and ensure all necessary documents are completed accurately

Coordinate move-in procedures, including inspections, key exchanges, and paperwork

Address tenant inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests promptly and professionally

Maintain organized records of leasing activities, tenant information, and lease agreements

Requirements / Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in multifamily leasing or property management is required

Proficiency in Yardi property management software required

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with potential tenants

Detail-oriented with good organizational skills for managing paperwork and records

Proficient in data entry and computer skills for maintaining accurate records

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Ability to negotiate lease terms and handle confidential information responsibly

High level of professionalism, attention to detail, and customer service skills

Strong knowledge of Section 8 housing regulations, Fair Housing laws, and landlord-tenant law to ensure compliance across all leasing activities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
