Who we are:
We are a small team looking for a good cultural fit for our brand - small production, unpretentious but professional, AND we make great wine. We are looking for a dedicated person who wants to join our winery team. Our goal is to make our winery the best it can be, sell wine, and create a positive work environment in which to have fun. We all wear many hats, and everyone helps everyone here! Whether it’s packing wine, moving inventory, or calling our customers, we are all part of the team.
What we are looking for: We seek a motivated hospitality-minded person to work in our tasting room in an on-call basis/seasonal Friday through Sunday support. We seek a go-getter who has impeccable customer service and phone demeanor. The ability to solve problems independently, be attentive to detail, have good communication and strong computer skills, and desire to learn new skills is HUGE. A friendly, positive attitude and honesty are a must.

Job Description HOSTING
Professionally host tastings – Share the winery story with all guests and offer educational and special tasting experiences that create connections with guests
Engage with clients before arrival (confirm appointments, ask for special requests, etc.)
Engage with clients after hosting them and maintain the relationship
TASTING ROOM
Support opening, closing, and overseeing the day-to-day activities of the tasting room.
Restocking wine, cleaning, washing and buffing, packing orders, and packing shipping orders.
Keeping and maintaining a safe and sanitized workspace for yourself and all guests who visit.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
Imperative to our success
Ability to respond professionally to emails/phone calls regarding reservations, and sales inquiries.
Following up on reservation requests, issues with wine delivery, and whatever the customer needs, problem-solving where needed.
Answering inquiries in a timely manner.
SALES
This is a sales position (in-person, phone campaigns, email, and web-based)
Comfortable asking for the sale
Use soft sales skills to upsell wine purchases/memberships
Ability to read customer’s needs and anticipate them
Ability to sell wine club memberships, and wine and capture data during communication
Entering the order information and adding notes for the customer profile
Supporting of the tracking and organization of data related to sales and sales performance
Assist in meeting sales goals
OUTREACH
Increasing winery visibility and driving traffic to our tasting room
Attend offsite pourings and industry events as needed events
Support and maintain professional relationships with our current winery, hotel, and drivers’ business
EVENTS
Support in the execution of events and working to make sure they are a success
Assist in the promotion and attendance of events as needed
Other duties Wine Club
Assist in calling declined credit cards when needed packing orders
Communicating rerouting, recalling, or holding orders to leadership.
