Hiring Pay Range:

$19.20 - $31.99 per hour

Loan Servicing Specialist I: $19.20 - $26.43 per hour

Loan Servicing Specialist II: $21.13 - $29.07 per hour

Loan Servicing Specialist III: $23.23 - $31.99 per hour

Eligible for an additional $1.00 per hour through the Spanish Communication Assistant Program (if approved)

Hiring pay is commensurate with relevant experience and education.

Summary Responsible for preparing, processing, verifying, booking, and servicing all loans and certain loan documentation for all loan types from all regions of the bank.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain current knowledge and consistent compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), as well as other banking regulations and bank policies related to the position.

Understand regulatory loan compliance, state laws, bank credit policy, internal procedures, consumer disclosures (TRID, RESPA, HMDA, etc.).

Act as a reference point to lending staff on loan process and system duties.

Deliver quality of service as defined by department standards.

Input loan information into operating systems (including Laser Pro and the core system).

Maintain documentation compliance checklists.

Assist internal customers with loan inquiries, changes, and issues, ensuring needs are satisfied.

Process and document credit disputes (via E‑Oscar or in‑person at the branch).

Assist in collection and reporting of HMDA data.

Process non‑originated loan requests in compliance with Regulation B and HMDA.

Research and resolve loan issues arising from documentation or the core system.

Handle loan suspense, deferred fees, and shadow suspense account reconciliation.

Maintain escrow accounts and disbursements.

Conduct non‑post research and resolution.

Process loan rating changes, non‑accruals, and charge‑offs as needed.

Maintain loan rate indexes.

Approve and track flood insurance to ensure regulatory and policy compliance.

Track insurance exceptions and work with vendors to ensure compliance with procedures.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience Loan Servicing Specialist I

One year of prior banking experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Basic understanding of applicable bank regulations (HMDA, RESPA, TRID, Reg B). Able to meet accuracy, deadline, and other goals set by management.

Performs duties with regular direction and supervision.

Loan Servicing Specialist II

At least two years of prior banking experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Proficient understanding of applicable bank regulations and bank lending policy and procedures.

Proficient at assigned duties within the service team and multiple other job duties. Consistently meets accuracy, deadline, and other goals.

Preferred experience with Fiserv.

Performs duties with moderate direction and supervision.

Loan Servicing Specialist III

At least four years of prior servicing related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Advanced understanding of applicable bank regulations and bank lending policy and procedures. Capable of leading trainings and serving as a resource.

Proficient at most or all servicing team functions; trains teammates and helps meet goals. Exceeds accuracy, deadline, and other goals.

Proficient with Fiserv.

Performs duties with minimal direction and supervision.
