Serving New Hampshire, Southern Maine, Vermont, and Northern Massachusetts.**Job Description - Carpenter / Framer**Our Framers are responsible for assisting the carpentry foreman, overseeing the work of apprentices and laborers, manually securing, moving, assembling, and installing lumber products operating a variety of woodworking machines and tools to cut, shape, fasten, and install building materials associated with wood framing. Assists in the training of employees.**Principle Duties and Responsibilities*** Assist with coordination and supervision of other carpentry workmen.* Receives and accounts for all job site materials and ensures proper storage and use.* Coordinate with carpentry foremen daily.* Comply with and enforce all company policies* Attend the training sessions for your position offered by the company.* Maintain a positive company image with appropriate language, dress, and behavior* Fabrication and installation of basic components required in commercial carpentry framing* Keep the job site organized and clean* Provide your own hand tools and belt* Maintain and use your Personal Protective Equipment at all times* Ensure a safe job site.* Keep Carpentry Foreman advised of progress problems* Performs other duties as required**Requirements*** Preferred GED or equivalent* Preferred proficiency in reading and writing English* Preferred knowledge of lumber and engineered wood products, wood framing anchors, and connections and how they are assembled and used in hand frame and panelized buildings.### **Benefits currently offered to our employees:*** Medical Insurance* Health Savings Account with Company Contribution* Dental Insurance* Vision Insurance* Basic and Voluntary Life Insurance* Disability Insurance* 401(k) plan with Company Match*The Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.***We're successful.** We've been around for more than 65 years, and we've been profitable every year since our founding.
