We are seeking an experienced
Director of Supply Chain
to lead and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations for a growing organization in the textile and apparel industry. This role will be responsible for driving efficiency across purchasing, planning, sourcing, and logistics while ensuring alignment with business objectives, customer expectations, and operational goals.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in textile/apparel manufacturing and supply chain leadership, with a proven ability to manage complex global sourcing networks and improve overall supply chain performance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all aspects of supply chain operations including purchasing, production planning, sourcing, and logistics
Develop and execute supply chain strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support business growth
Manage vendor relationships, including domestic and international suppliers, to ensure quality, reliability, and cost competitiveness
Oversee demand planning and inventory management to align production with customer needs
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, sales, and product development teams to ensure seamless execution
Identify and implement process improvements across the supply chain to enhance performance and visibility
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with company standards, quality expectations, and regulatory requirements
Lead, mentor, and develop supply chain team members
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in textile or apparel manufacturing environments
6–8+ years of direct experience in purchasing, planning, and sourcing
Proven leadership experience managing supply chain teams and processes
Strong understanding of global sourcing, vendor management, and logistics
Experience with demand planning, inventory control, and ERP systems
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Textile Engineering
