JR-14888**If you are motivated and believe in the credit union philosophy of "People Helping People," join our team!****Purpose:**To support all aspects of personal lines insurance, including quality control of underwriting and compliance requirements, retention, remarketing, and servicing policies.**Responsibilities:*** Work with insurance carriers to remain apprised of each carrier’s risk appetite, while mentoring Personal Lines Insurance Specialists in aligning insured risk with carrier risk profile and compliance standards.* Monitor and handle escalated electronic communications received by Insurance Services for personal lines products, including billing, servicing and quote requests.* Train and mentor employees on retention procedures and requirements, collaborating with management on process inefficiencies and carrier changes.* Handle escalated adverse action and claim disputes, gathering appropriate documentation to assist management in rendering decisions.* Review and monitor accuracy of data in agency management system, identifying weaknesses and workflow inefficiencies.* Train and mentor employees on insurance carrier audit requirements and regulatory requests.**Qualifications:****Required Education*** Bachelors; Acceptable Fields of Study: Communications, Business Management, Finance, Risk Management, Mathematics or related fields of study* Must have in-depth knowledge of Property and Casualty Insurance industry and the responsibilities to the policyholders.**Required Relevant Experience*** 5 years**Required Knowledge, Abilities, Skills:*** Must have in-depth knowledge of Property and Casualty Insurance industry and the responsibilities to the policyholders.* Must have experience working with multiple insurance carriers in an agency management system.* Must work independently and be proficient with carrier systems and processes.* Must have the ability to build and maintain relationships with carriers, peers and members.* Minimum of five years of experience in property and casualty insurance sales and service.* Must possess active North Carolina Personal Lines or Property & Casualty licenses or obtain those licenses within 1 month of hire.* Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation preferred.**Special Position Requirements:*** Sitting for prolonged periods* Carrying up to 15 lbs* Lift up to 15 lbs* Push/Pull up to 15 lbs* Telephone for prolonged periods* Computer for prolonged periodsSECU provides equal employment opportunity to all qualified persons regardless of race, color, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, genetic information, disability, veteran status, or other classification protected by law.***Disclaimer****State Employees' Credit Union reserves the right to fill this role at a higher/lower level based on business need.* #J-18808-Ljbffr
