SHIFT: Full-Time
RATE: $36 - $39/hr. (depending on experience) Plus Sign-On-Bonus $7500
RN Director of Subacute Job Description The successful candidate will have a variety of duties, including but not limited to:
Responsibilities
Directing, coordinating, and supervising the activities of all nursing staff engaged in a designated unit
Authority, responsibility, and accountability for the overall management of residents in a designated unit
Responsible for transmitting each unit's staff concerns to the appropriate department supervisor
Maintenance of Resident Care Plans and the overall management of resident care
Requirements
Degree from an accredited school of nursing
Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse in the state of New York required
Must have a minimum of one year of experience in nursing service administration. Additional education or experience in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing is preferred
Must possess knowledge of state, federal, and local long-term care regulations
Must be flexible, punctual, professional, and reliable
Strong customer service skills and compassion
