Our agency client is looking for a social-first Senior Art Director / Content Creator who can concept, shoot, edit, and deliver native social creative (short‑form video, minor animation).

The role will work closely with a copywriter, creative director, and social strategist to execute always‑on social and campaign assets. It requires client‑facing engagement.

Must be local to NYC; remote work is mostly allowed but onsite onboarding is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Concept and produce native social content (shooting, in‑platform editing, minor animation)
• Execute assets for TikTok, Instagram Reels, etc., using native tools (CapCut, in‑app editors)
• Partner with the social strategist on content calendars and briefs
• Present creative work and rationale to internal teams and clients when required
• Flex to support production days and occasional in‑office collaboration

Must‑have Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience creating social‑first visual content and short‑form video
• Hands‑on editing experience with native platform tools (CapCut, TikTok/IG editors)
• Portfolio showing social creatives, short‑form video, and format‑optimized work
• Comfortable with client‑facing work and collaborating with freelance creative directors
• Experience in culture/music/entertainment, sneaker, or beverage brands
