Your Role and Responsibilities
- UX Expertise and Leadership: Showcase your profound understanding of user experience principles and SAP-specific UX guidelines to create seamless and engaging SAP interfaces.
- Tool Proficiency: Utilize your expertise in Signavio for business process modeling, LeaniX for development, and WalkMe for digital adoption, crafting user-centered solutions that enhance user satisfaction.
- Client Engagement: Act as a UX subject matter expert, guiding clients through the design and implementation of SAP user experiences, and building strong stakeholder relationships.
- Partnership Enhancement: Collaborate with IBM and SAP teams to align with strategic goals, participate in joint initiatives, and co-create innovative UX solutions.
- UX Strategy and Differentiation: Identify and strengthen our unique value proposition in SAP UX design, developing compelling messages that resonate with potential clients.
- Design System and Component Management: Assist in developing a reusable design system and component library for SAP applications, ensuring efficiency and consistency across projects.
- User Research and Usability Testing: Conduct user research and testing to validate design concepts, ensuring user satisfaction and needs are met.
- Collaboration and Cross-Functional Work: Work closely with UX designers, product managers, and developers to ensure the effective execution of UX strategies and initiatives.
- Thought Leadership: Engage in thought leadership activities, such as speaking at events and publishing articles, establishing our firm as a trusted advisor in the SAP UX space.
- Incentive Maximization: Stay informed about incentive programs to maximize rewards linked to successful SAP UX implementations and partnership milestones.
- Market Awareness: Keep abreast of SAP and IBM market dynamics and emerging trends to offer valuable insights to clients.
- Mentorship and Team Development: Mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Work Environment:
This hybrid role allows you to work from a combination of IBM locations, client sites, or home. The specific in-office days will be defined by your management team, and any changes require pre-approval from your manager.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Education and Certifications: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Business Management, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. Relevant certifications, such as SAP Certified Application Associate or SAP Certified Technology Associate, are preferred.
- Technical Expertise:
- Experience in UX design for enterprise software with a focus on SAP applications.
- Strong understanding of UX design principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Proficiency in UX design tools like Sketch, Figma, and Adobe XD.
- Familiarity with low-code platforms like LeaniX and digital adoption tools like WalkMe.
- Knowledge of business process modeling with Signavio.
