Job Summary

We are seeking a Technical Writer to create clear, accurate, and developer-focused documentation for APIs and our Developer Portal. The role partners closely with engineering and product teams to translate complex technical concepts into usable content that improves developer experience and adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and maintain API documentation, including reference guides, tutorials, and examples
• Document REST/SoapUI, GraphQL APIs, SDKs, authentication flows, and error handling
• Maintain and improve Developer Portal content for clarity, usability, and consistency
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and UX teams to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Review API changes and keep documentation aligned with releases
• Apply documentation standards, templates, and best practices

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• Experience: 3+ years of technical writing experience, preferably with API or developer documentation
• Skills: Strong writing and editing skills; proficiency with documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, Readme.io, Swagger/OpenAPI); familiarity with REST/GraphQL APIs
• Certifications: [Any necessary certifications]
• Other: Ability to work independently and manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with developer portals and SDK documentation
• Familiarity with agile/scrum development environments
• Background in software engineering or computer science
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
