Our talented team of Cast Members, Crew Members, Imagineers, and employees delivers supreme service, entertainment, and imagination, bringing a range of authentic, immersive stories to life across the globe. As part of the Disney Experiences Global Public Relations team, the Global PR Intern supports day-to-day, segment-wide public relations and influencer initiatives. This role joins a specialized bi‑coastal team that works closely with partners across the segment to elevate stories among key advocates, media, and content creators. We gather and analyze reports, and also participate in unique campaigns and events. The intern will report to the Senior Manager of Public Relations.
This internship is a full‑time, six‑month commitment in Glendale, California, from
June 2026 through January 2027 .
What You Will Do
Support global PR and influencer campaigns for the Disney Experiences segment.
Support back‑end creator communication strategies, including brand safety, 365‑engagement, and community management.
Identify creative content opportunities for various digital and social platforms.
Assist with event engagement, including outreach, invitations, and on‑site hosting support as needed.
Draft communication plans, blog posts, press releases, and social copy.
Collaborate with the Media Events team to organize and coordinate logistics, travel, and other event details for activations.
Contribute to creator network growth by reviewing inbound submissions and proactively discovering new creator contacts through researching, vetting, and selecting influencers to align with project goals and brand initiatives.
Create campaign and project reports that analyze key metrics to provide actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Support the development of impactful presentations and visual assets to showcase team strategies and project outcomes.
Stay on top of emerging social media features/trends and influencer insights for projects, partners, and quarterly share‑outs.
Qualifications and Experience
An organized self‑starter.
An excellent writer who is borderline obsessed with grammar and AP style.
Strong computer skills in database management in Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Google Workspace, Keynote, etc.
Social media savviness across multiple platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, etc.).
Passionate about the social media and influencer space, and bring a unique personal and professional perspective.
Loves working collaboratively on projects and is not afraid to share "blue sky" ideas.
Nimble, organized, and can manage multiple projects simultaneously, while paying close attention to detail.
Appreciation for the Disney brand and understanding of the many global businesses represented within Disney Experiences.
Relevant experience in Communications/Public Relations and/or Influencer Marketing.
Preferred Qualifications
Strategic mindset and flair for disruptive thinking.
Relevant experience in developing/managing a social media presence.
Agency experience in Public Relations or Advertising, managing multiple accounts simultaneously.
Education
Senior year preferred.
Pursuing a degree in Communications, English, Creative Writing, Marketing, Public Relations, Public Affairs, Journalism, Customer Engagement, Social Communication, Broadcast Communications, or other relevant fields.
Required Materials A writing sample is required, and a portfolio is highly recommended for this position. Eligibility Requirements
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university, pursuing a degree, taking at least one class at the time of application, OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.

Be at least 18 years of age.
Possess unrestricted work authorization.

Fully available Monday‑Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Pacific Time Zone, with possible weekends or shifts outside of these hours for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week.
Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Glendale, California area.
Able to provide or have reliable transportation to/from work.

Compensation and Benefits The pay rate for this internship in Glendale, California, is $22.50 per hour. Select benefits may be provided as part of the compensation package, such as medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
