Investor Relations Summer Intern

Overview The Investor Relations Intern will have the opportunity to work closely with the investment team at SoLa Impact, gaining valuable experience in real estate private equity and contributing to the mission of promoting affordable housing in historically neglected communities. This internship provides hands‑on exposure to financial analysis, due diligence, investment research, and portfolio management within the real estate industry.

Duration: Cohort 1 – Monday, May 18th – Thursday, August 13th

Duration: Cohort 2 – Monday, June 22nd – Thursday, September 17th

Location: The Beehive, 961 E. 61st Street, Los Angeles, CA 90001 Schedule: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, M‑F Compensation: $21–$24 per hour

Responsibilities

Support the investment team in conducting financial analysis and modeling.

Assist in due diligence efforts, including market research and analysis.

Participate in investment research and analysis to evaluate potential opportunities.

Contribute to the preparation of investment proposals and presentations.

Assist with portfolio management tasks, including tracking and updating investment performance.

Collaborate with the team on ad‑hoc projects and tasks as assigned.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, Real Estate, or a related field.

Strong interest in real estate finance and investment.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Previous internship or relevant work experience is a plus.
