Job Overview This team supports professional liability and insures professionals. The role involves handling inbound calls, providing support with navigating the website, answering general policy questions, processing payments, etc. The customers are professionals such as nurse practitioners, speech pathologists, etc., and may be demanding. Candidates must be patient and not offended easily.

Daily Duties

Handling inbound calls from providers checking eligibility and/or claim status for members.

Working in a call center environment, taking inbound and outbound calls.

Responding to standard and difficult customer inquiries via phone or email in an easy-to-understand manner.

Researching customer inquiries and following up via email or outbound calls.

Assisting customers with payments and payment-related questions, policy changes, explaining coverages and rate changes.

Responding formally to correspondence, verbally or in writing.

Requesting additional or missing information from the customer via written or verbal communication.

Documenting client issues and escalating to appropriate parties.

Assisting with L&H or P&C insurance policy questions.

Providing basic website error troubleshooting.

Working a scheduled day with flexibility.

Skills Customer service, call center, insurance, support.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Customer service experience – 1+ year.

Experience in call center, bartending, service industry, barbers, barista roles.

High School Diploma or GED.

Tech‑savvy ability to troubleshoot.

Experience Level Entry Level.

Job Type & Location Contract to Hire position based out of Urbandale, IA.

Pay And Benefits Pay range: $17.31–$17.31/hr.
