Float Client Relationship Consultants build relationships with customers by meeting face to face and engaging them where they need guidance. They assess banking needs, obtain and process customer and account information, educate clients on deposit and loan products, and recommend financial solutions based on each customer’s goals. They are also responsible for originating and closing consumer loans, opening accounts, and opening and/or closing the branch. Responsibilities

Travel to defined branch clusters as assigned within the district Mileage and drive time paid for any time or distance beyond your regular home branch commute Maintain a flexible work schedule (6 days per week) covering traditional branches and in-store locations Report to the float pool manager at the market level Drive for 2 or more hours per week as part of the role Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent Typically has a minimum four to five years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training Preferred Skills/Experience

Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow-up Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems Thorough knowledge of all retail products and services Proven customer service and interpersonal skills Experience participating in sales campaigns/promotions Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies Ability to identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital-first mindset Demonstrated ability to make appropriate recommendations that meet customer needs both reactively and proactively Experience in the financial services industry preferred Location and Work Expectations

This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location for all scheduled work days. Required Skills
