Responsibilities
Makes memorable first and last impressions with a smile.
Greets incoming and departing guests in a welcoming manner and seats them in the dining and bar areas, ensuring a smooth handoff to service staff.
Coordinates wait and seats guests with a sense of urgency.
Always smiles and has genuine conversations with guests.
Demonstrates teamwork by supporting all areas of the restaurant as business needs arise.
Commitment to food safety, cleanliness, job safety, and sanitation standards.
Busses tables, delivers food, and supports the dining room while ensuring every opportunity to WOW our guests is fulfilled.
Has a general knowledge of the food and drink menu and can recommend and upsell products.
Answers the phone promptly and professionally and directs calls.
Leads the lobby experience for each guest, following Outback hospitality standards.
Assists guests and supports servers by serving food and beverages, clearing and resetting tables, and ensuring a clean, welcoming dining environment.
Requirements
Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 30 lbs.
Able to work in hot and cold environments.
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours per shift.
Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting, and stooping.
Manual dexterity to handle glassware, utensils, and technology systems.
Ability to move quickly in a fast‑paced environment.
Visual ability to include distance, close, color, depth, and peripheral vision; ability to adjust focus as needed; and to work in areas with low or dim lighting.
Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
