Schedule: Day Shift Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 32 Requirements: Must be a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in Vermont and New Hampshire or hold a compact license. Graduate of an accredited school as a Physical Therapy Assistant. One year of experience as a PTA in a home health care setting is preferred. Roles & Responsibilities: Provide treatment to patients as prescribed by a physician and as per the plan of care established by a registered Physical Therapist (RPT). Direct and aid patients in exercises, muscle re-education, gait and functional training, and activities of daily living. Use various equipment and modalities to enhance patient treatment. Observe, record, and report patient reactions to treatment and any changes in their condition. Educate patients and caregivers on self-care techniques and activities. Complete and submit clinical notes and required documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Client Details: City: White River Junction State: VT
