
Account Operations Outside Specialist II (Manheim)

Job Responsibilities
Primary point of contact for resolving client issues for accounts ranging from simple to complex, collaborating with auction teams and stakeholders.
Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries and concerns related to vehicle condition and/or discrepancies, fostering positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Coordinate sale vehicle run processes, maintaining direct communication with auction departments to ensure appropriate movement and organization of client inventory and timely completion of reconditioning services.
Build positive relationships with assigned clients, examine vehicles in the sales lineup to ensure standards and quality, complete estimates for reconditioning services to improve vehicle value, coordinate and approve reconditioning services, and conduct condition report and imaging audits to reduce risk of policy loss and goodwill expenses.
Demonstrate proficient knowledge of condition report data and vehicle inspection process to identify paint, auto‑body repairs, frame damage, PDR, etc.
Educate and act as liaison for clients on auction processes, recommending and/or upselling Manheim/CAI products and services based on client needs.
Demonstrate effective prioritization skills, professionalism in client relationships, and assist in resolving client issues promptly and professionally.
May be responsible for efficiently coordinating redemptions, ensuring proper documentation, complying with all PII policies and procedures while delivering exceptional customer service.
Maintain strict adherence to Cox standards and guidelines regarding reconditioning services, ensuring consistent quality and accuracy per client SLA guidelines.
Proficient knowledge of NAAA guidelines to ensure proper placement of vehicle announcements and brands.
Proficiency with computer software, including Microsoft Office applications and other internal business platforms.
Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures, modeling related behaviors, and actively participating in safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
Perform any other duties assigned.
Qualifications
70% outside work and 30% in‑office administrative duties.
High school diploma or GED and at least 3 years’ experience in a related field (or a different combination such as a degree/certification beyond a high school diploma with 5 years’ experience).
Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
Prior experience in vehicle reconditioning and/or general auto‑body knowledge.
Self‑starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong team‑based interpersonal skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Physical and mental ability to execute the duties of the position successfully within required timeframes to meet business requirements.
Work Environment
Exposure to outdoor elements, including extreme heat and cold.
Moderate noise level.
Risks and hazards such as sharp/jagged metal or parts, broken glass, hazardous or caustic chemicals.
Compensation Hourly pay rate is in the range of $20.10 to $30.10 per hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on location and candidate qualifications. The position may also be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission, incentive programs, and other forms of payment.
Benefits Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees may also receive additional paid time off for bereavement, voting, jury duty, volunteer, military, or parental leave.
