Pet Groomers at Pet Supplies Plus provide high-quality grooming services while ensuring the safety and comfort of pets. This role offers a 55% commission on grooming services, giving experienced groomers the opportunity to earn competitive income while working in a supportive, pet-loving environment. Key Responsibilities
Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, haircuts, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and de-shedding. Follow breed-specific grooming standards or customer preferences. Ensure pets are handled with care and compassion throughout the grooming process. Consult with pet parents to understand grooming needs and provide expert recommendations. Build lasting relationships with clients through consistent, high-quality service. Address and resolve customer concerns professionally. Help train new groomers and support other team members. Rebook clients after each appointment. Recommend additional services. Ask clients for referrals. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe grooming area. Assist with scheduling appointments and managing salon workflow. Monitor pet health and report any concerns to management. Compensation
55% commission on all grooming services performed. Opportunities for tips and periodic discretionary bonuses. Flexible scheduling and high-income potential based on performance. Requirements
High school diploma or GED preferred. Prior grooming experience or completion of a grooming training program required. Passion for animals and strong customer service skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Comfortable working with all breeds and temperaments. Certification in pet grooming (preferred but not required).
