What You'll Do This role will work on assigned accounts with repossession agents to locate collateral or negotiate account resolution through accurate account documentation within the system. The incumbent is responsible for facilitating the disposition of repossessed collateral via nationwide auctions in accordance to state specific laws. This role will reconcile repossession invoices and/or sales documents from repossession agents and auctions in addition to disbursing the invoice from the member's account and submitting for payment to the credit union partners. Additionally, they will document impound notices, speak with the impound yards to negotiate release and coordinate pickup of those vehicles with the Repossession Agent. This position is open to flexible work options including a remote set up. Core Contributions Provide service to credit union members who are in repossession status whether it be collecting payment, arranging surrender, or sending releases to the Repossession Agent. Review approved repossession orders and facilitate assignments to applicable repossession agents. Generate state specific notices when vehicles are repossessed and/or sold, this includes processing sales proceeds and filing for GAP/Warranty/Service Contract Cancellations. Receive notices from the impound, police department, dealership, mechanic, etc. and document the account. Handle and disperse invoices from member accounts and submit to credit union for payment. Complete daily repossession updates and document the account. Coordinate the receipt of vehicle titles for dispossession vehicles at auction. Follow-up with dealership for GAP/Warranty/Service Contract Cancellations and document the account. Additional job-related projects and duties as assigned by management. Assets You Will Bring High School Diploma or GED required. 1 year of customer service and/or collections experience, required. 1 year repossession experience is desirable. Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Skills: Communication Verbal & Written, Ethical Behavior, Interpersonal, Organized, & Service Delivery. The estimated salary for this role is $21.77-$25.59 per hour.
