Position Title: Senior Product Owner
Location: Merrifield, VA, United States
Position Status: Contract
Pay Rate or Salary: $65.00/hr on W2
This role is essentially a
Senior Product Owner / Experience Analyst hybrid
focused on:
Driving
product delivery in Agile Managing
backlogs, roadmaps, and releases Acting as a
bridge between business, tech, and UX Working heavily with
Azure DevOps (ADO)
and possibly
Pega ? What They REALLY Want (Decoded)
This is not just a PO-they want someone who:
Owns
end-to-end product lifecycle Can
drive delivery (not just write stories) Has
domain exposure in mortgage/real estate lending Understands
technical teams (dev + QA + UX) ? Core Responsibilities (Condensed)
You'll be expected to:
Own and prioritize the
product backlog (2+ sprints ahead) Write
epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria Lead
Agile ceremonies
(refinement, sprint planning, demos) Collaborate across:
Product Owners Scrum Masters Dev & QA teams UX/UI designers
Drive
roadmap + release planning Act as
primary liaison
between stakeholders and delivery teams Resolve
production issues & escalations Coach teams on
Agile/Scrum best practices ? Must-Have Skills
Product Ownership in Agile (Scrum/SAFe) Backlog management & prioritization Azure DevOps (ADO) Strong stakeholder communication Agile ceremonies & delivery ownership ? Strong Advantage (Nice-to-Have)
Mortgage / Real Estate Lending domain Pega experience ( big plus here ) .NET / web development understanding QA/testing exposure UX collaboration experience.
